Rental properties 'should stand out'
Owners of overseas rental property can maximise their investment by ensuring their properties stand out when advertising online.
According to Sarah Chambers of Holiday-Rentals, it is a good strategy for investors to promote their properties online, in order to make the most of potential customers.
She stated that property owners should consider advertising their homes on other online portals as well as their own website, which may be of note to those considering an Isla Margarita property investment.
Talking to the Independent newspaper, she said: "You need to advertise somewhere where you'll definitely be seen."
Ms Chambers went on to say that investors who want to stand out to should make use of high quality photographs and descriptions of every room, along with information on available facilities and the surrounding region.
Principal International recently reported that tourism in the Caribbean island of Margarita is up by some 15 per cent in 2008.
